Honey Soaked Lemons

Honey and Lemon are both superfoods and pair naturally as the natural sweetness of honey is an ideal contrast to the sourness of a lemon. Soaking fresh lemon slices in honey and refrigerating it for 2-3 day make the lemon slices very palatable, soft and mild which can be consumed on its own. The honey also becomes thinner and not too sweet or sour and the concoction can be used to make honey lemon tea, honey lemon shaved ice, honey lemon chicken. You can also drizzle it over toasts or fruit salad or use it in infused water.
