Unwind at The Palace Belvedere in Nanital Amidst Serene Surroundings

Easily accessible from both Dehradun and Delhi, Nainital has become one of the most popular North Indian hill stations in recent times. Located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, it is a picturesque hill station at the base of the mountain range known as the Kumaon. We indulged in a relaxing stay at The Palace Belvedere in Nainital, followed by an exciting safari at Jim Corbett National Park. Moreover, the itinerary, which spanned five nights and six days, provided a welcome respite from the frantic pace of city life. Let me tell you a little bit more about our relaxing trip to The Palace Belvedere in Nainital.

The Majestic Palace Belvedere in Nainital

More about our luxurious stay at The Palace Belvedere, Nanital:

The Palace Belvedere, built in 1897 atop a tiny hill, is a charming throwback to the Raj Era. It was built by Raja Balwant Singh OBE of Awagarh to serve as the summer palace of the erstwhile Rajas of Awagarh and offers a tranquil stay to visitors. The property's most attractive feature is that it provides peaceful surroundings with enough parking while being close to Naina Lake and other sites of interest such as Mall Road and Thandi Sadak.

The in-house restaurant offers a choice of multi cuisine options and a few local dishes from Kumaoni cuisine on special request. As a matter of fact, do try local delights like Pahadi Kheere ka Raita, Bhang ki Chutney, Aloo Ke Ghutke, Bhatt ki Dal (organic black soybeans dal) and Jhangore ki kheer, among other local delicacies. Guests can also participate in various in-house games, but we recommend taking advantage of the nice weather to relax in the garden and catch up with loved ones. There is a great live musical performance every night at 8:00, and we thought the flowing musical notes to be a perfect match to the serene environment.

  5. Soul healing is as effective as 2 man tent camping trip! It's a great way to escape the hectic pace of modern life and get back in sync with the natural world. And the right camping equipment is the one that suits your requirements and preferences. Car campers may luxuriate in more extensive and luxurious equipment, but lightweight and compact gear is vital for the adventurous backpacker.
