First Look - Mumbai's Two New Floating Restaurants

We all know that there is more to hospitality than just good food and drink. Lovers of all things nice are constantly craving to dine at venues that are as Insta-worthy as the food. Nothing elevates the experience of enjoying stellar food and drinks in inspiring venues.

All set to wow guests, two new floating restaurants open their doors this week in Mumbai. Offering the largest dining room on the sea, Queensline Neverland and Queensline Sea YAH invites patrons to enjoy a dining experience in the middle of the Arabian Ocean with views of Mumbai's iconic skyline.



Brainchild of Delhi based entrepreneurs and husband-wife duo Shripriya Dalmia Thirani and Mridul Thirani, the floating restaurants are on board two large ships - Queensline Neverland and Queensline Sea YAH that will be parked a few miles into the sea off Mumbai’s iconic Gateway of India. Each floating restaurant complete with dining and bar area, banquet halls and open decks will be able to accommodate 450 diners at any given point of time.




Inaugurated by Union minister Nitin Gadkari, the restaurants will serve global favorites across food and beverage menu and some of the best flavors from across the world. Guests can enjoy glorious sunset views as the ships cruise across Mumbai’s shoreline. The ships that have been bought from Turkey will also serve as a great venue for fairy tale destination weddings that shall lure soon to be married couples with their  international appeal coupled with Indian hospitality.



In the coming months, the owners have charted grand plans to extend offerings like on deck barbecues, star gazing through powerful telescopes, LED Screen / projectors to watch movies or sport events while lazing on the deck as well as art on the ship.



A Little More Trivia:

The ships hail from Istanbul and have hosted several royalties, dignitaries and prominent people around the world. The Monarch of Great Britain - Queen Elizabeth is said to have graced her presence on board. The two ships are being run as a joint venture with the Mumbai Port Trust and were purchased from Istanbul and refurbished at Mazagaon over one year before opening doors to patrons.

What About Charges:

Patrons can enjoy three hours on the ship for a  cover charge of INR 2,500 that covers meals.

What Else Do I Need To Know:

Currently open from noon till midnight, the floating restaurants plan to stay open 24 X 7 in coming months.

Now Mumbai citizens have got a new destinations to organize their parties. Birthdays and other parties could celebrated in a grant way in this restaurants.
