We chose a table by the window with beautiful views of the race course that made a perfect backdrop for the great meal. Read on to know it all. Drool Alert: The pictures below can make you seriously hungry :D.

We started with two long form cocktails- Golden Triangle made with vodka, grapes, cranberry & delicately balanced hints of vanilla & ginger was a perfect afternoon drink.

Lower Mekong, a delicious signature drink made with vodka & kumquat with hints of basil & lime was strong enough to last a long time.

For starters, we tried assorted dim sum platter & tried both vegetarian & non vegetarian flavors. In veg we tried, edamame truffle, crystal vegetable with kaffir pesto, wild mushroom We were bowled over by the freshness of the ingredients used- especially edamame & mushrooms in the dim sums & a nice chat with Chef Shi Xilin & Chef Himanshu Taneja revealed the secret!!

Handpicked seasonal produce from authentic sources to offer nothing but the best to the guests dining at By the Mekong. The chicken & truffle sumai dumplings were steamed to perfection and a must try if you want to try only a few flavors. The prawn with caviar ossetra are a delight for prawn lovers with juicy & meaty prawns enveloped in a light dough cover topped with ossetra caviar (most sought after caviar obtained from Ossetra sturgeon).

The Wok tossed crispy lotus root paired well with the dim sums.

The main course started with Barbecue Lamb Chops- succulent, tender & juicy chops served hot.

The Fried Rice (made with fragrant jasmine rice) & Hong Kong noodles with Malak sauce paired beautifully with Mekong chicken - a must try signature dish & Stir Fried Seasonal Vegetables with generous portions of fresh lotus root in a signature Asian sauce.

For desserts we tried the luscious & decadent "Ms. Berry" - a beautiful dessert made with seasonal berries dedicated to all the beautiful women of the city :D.

Chocolate Textures- a rich dessert featured different textures of chocolate bought together in a single harmonious dessert. A true chocoholics delight!!
