Gulab Jamun Custard: A Delicious Gulab Jamun Fusion Dessert

Here is an easy recipe to make smooth and creamy gulab jamun custard at home:

Ingredients for custard:

1/2 litre milk
2 tablespoons vanilla custard powder
Sugar as per taste
Cardamom powder
Dried rose petals
Sliced pistachios
Gulab jamuns cut in halves

Method:

Firstly, combine custard powder with little room temperature milk & mix well. Do ensure that there are no lumps.

Next heat the remaining milk along with sugar till hot. Add the cardamon powder. However, take care to not over boil. 

Now, lower the heat & pour the custard mix in the milk while stirring continuously. Moreover, keep stirring will the custard thickens.

Remove from heat & cool to room temperature. Store the custard in fridge till serving time.

Finally, to assemble gulab jamun custard, transfer custard into serving bowls. Next, place gulab jamuns cut in halves. Garnish with dried rose petals & sliced pistachios.
