Matcha Cocktail Recipe

Wicked Spoon Confessions brings to you a signature recipe for TaMatcha - a rum based "Root To Fruit Cocktail" courtesy The Fatty Bao.  "Root To Fruit Cocktail" follows the garden to glass concept where cocktails are created with house-made syrups & different parts of plants like flowers, seeds, leaves, roots, stems and even the pods.



Ingredients:
  • White rum - 60 ml
  • Matcha syrup - 60ml
  • Basil - 4 leaves
  • Lime juice - 15 ml
  • Soda - to top
  • Ice
  • Basil sprig - to garnish

Method:
  1. Fill a roly-poly glass or an old-fashioned glass with ice.
  2. Smash 4 basil leaves between your palms and add into the glass.
  3. Add the matcha syrup, white rum and lime juice.
  4. Stir well until mixed and top with soda.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of basil.
