Delicious Homemade Pan-Roasted Almonds Recipe

A great source of fiber, almonds provide a variety of health benefits. Moreover, many Indian homes consume soaked almonds every morning for healthy heart, better digestion & smooth skin. A great source of Vitamin E, consuming these healthy nuts help you keep full. However, there are many who do not like to eat them raw. So, how about making these delicious pan roasted almonds that can be made in 15 minutes flat! Eat them to beat midday hunger pangs or take them along as a perfect on-the-go snack.



Believe me, it's one of the most easiest homemade almond snack that you will ever make. All you shall need are raw unsalted almonds, extra virgin olive oil and select Indian spices. Besides, if you do not like the taste of raw almonds, roasting them helps improve their flavor & texture. It's also my favorite almond Indian style snack recipe. Also, the touch of Himalayan salt adds to the perfection! 


Ingredients:

1 cup raw unsalted almonds
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp curry powder
Little ground pepper as per taste
Himalayan salt to taste

Method:

Firstly, warm the virgin olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Next, roast the almonds for 5-10 minutes till golden brown.

Add the remaining ingredients to the almonds & mix until well combined.

Finally, cool & store
  

How long do these roasted nuts keep?

Store these delicious pan roasted almonds in an air tight container. If stored properly, they stay fresh for two weeks easily.
