How about downing shots to get your morning off to a flying start. Well of course we don't intend to numb your mind with tequila or vodka but how about some intense nutrient loaded wellness shots that can benefit your health in various ways. 

What are Wellness Shots?

Wellness shots are nutrient-dense powerhouses that pack a punch, provide a much required boost and help stop irritating symptoms of cold, flu and seasonal allergies. These shots are often made with seasonal, powerful and natural ingredients which help provide a boost of nutrient-rich goodness. Overall Wellness shots depending on the ingredients can help in improving your digestive system, controlling acidity, boosting immunity or your athletic performance. They can also be a saving grace if you are pinched for time in the morning and need to dash out of the door quickly but remember they are not meant to be a meal replacement.

Here are some easy DIY wellness shot recipes. Makes 2-3 wellness shots per recipe approximately. Ensure you wash the ingredients thoroughly to remove Pesticides.

Ginger + Turmeric + Lemon Shots:
This shot helps boost immunity and helps combat seasonal changes. Juice one inch piece of fresh ginger and turmeric each. Add a bit of honey and juice of one small lemon and drink up!

Pineapple + Ginger + Turmeric Shots:
Calm a queasy stomach, cleanse liver and feel good with this wellness shot. Clean and juice one cup chopped pineapple, one inch piece of turmeric and ginger and consume. Add some lemon juice if you like.

Lemon + Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) Shots:
This wellness shot helps provide a good alkalizing boost to your body and help you enjoy a good start to your day. To juice of one lemon, add one tablespoon ACV and some water. Drink immediately.

Spinach + Green Apple + Ginger Shots:
Wash and chop one bundle spinach, remove seeds from one small green apple and chop into medium pieces. Clean ginger and juice everything. Add some honey, lemon juice and drink up!

Indian Gooseberry + Ginger Shot
Indian Gooseberry (amla) is high in Vitamin C and ginger helps calm digestive issues. Juice 2-3 Indian gooseberries and one inch piece of ginger and drink.
